Text on the card reads: “I have a hypermobility spectrum disorder (HSD). My joints bend too far, come out of place, and injure easily, causing pain and fatigue. Some people with an HSD also have problems with digestion, heart rate, and more. Sometimes I might look fine, other times I might use braces or a mobility aid. It hurts and is exhausting. It is why I need more rest. It is my normal.”
